Open Water Dive Locations
In order to complete your Scuba certification, you must progress from "confined water" (a swimming pool for example) where you will learn the basics of working with your equipment, breathing underwater, etc to "open water" such as a sea or a lake which is not a restricted space and has natural underwater conditions. Sierra Vista Scuba offers two locations to complete your dive.
San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico
Minimum 4 participants. Three day/two night trip. Includes lodging and equipment as outlined in the course. Does NOT cover transportation, food, Mexican insurance. If boat diving, boat fee is extra. Please confirm all fees with your instructor prior to trip.
Lake Pleasant, Peoria, Arizona
Minimum 4 participants. Two day trip, includes equipment as outlined in the course. Does NOT include transportation, food, and lodging. Please confirm all fees with your instructor prior to trip.
